Post #77. On Making Focused Progress

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.”
– Lao Tzu

Where do you want to be in 10 years? 5 years? 1 year?

Where do you want to be in your health? Mind, body & soul.

Where do you want to be in terms of your character?

Where do you want to be in terms of the value your adding to the world?

Everything starts with awareness…

And in this case, awareness about where you wish to go.

I mean… If we don’t have an idea on where we want to go, we could end up anywhere… and that might not be so beautiful…

If we don’t stand for anything, we will fall for everything.

So, my encouragement to you is to determine where you want to be in your life, in your most important categories…

Some examples of categories:
* Health (mind, body, soul, character)
* Relationships (family, friends, mentors)
* Adding Value (macro=to the world & micro=to those around you)
* Economy (buffer & passive income)

So, decide where you want to be in your chosen domains.

Then, the next step is to define small actions to take every day, that will take you a little bit closer to this “place”.

It could be a daily workout, meditation practice… a daily habit that takes you 1% closer to the ideal you have at mind.

It this way, though disciplined focus & persistent small daily actions, you will travel very far toward the place you wish to be.

And don’t forget, it’s all about the journey.

Please do yourself a great service & take some time to reflect upon these questions.

Where do you want to be in terms of your core, fundamental life categories?

Create some “life boxes”and start today with using your time in a way that is focused & disciplined.

For me, the boxes, the things I wish to focus cultivating and making stronger are:
Health, Relationships & Service.

Which ones are yours?

With love.
